I have worked within the recruitment industry for 17 years, I started out with a nursing agency where it was a baptism by fire!! From there I moved into the industrial sector, eventually co-founding Dynamix Staff.
Before working in Recruitment I worked intensively with children who had social, behavioural and health issues.
My thoughts on the job
The best part about working in recruitment is that it is never ever boring and I have had the pleasure of meeting some brilliant people, Clients, candidates and colleagues alike. All of whom have had a hand in shaping me into the person that I am today. What I have learned is that there are lessons to be learned, every single day and from every person that I have met. Some are good, some are bad but they are all lessons!!

General Manager/ Director
I have worked in the recruitment industry for 10 years, having previously worked as an educator and psychologist.
I started out as a permanent recruiter in the commercial industry and was latter thrust into the fast-paced world of temp industrial recruitment. I have worked for boutique agencies and national and international recruitment firms, doing temp and perm, onsite recruitment, account management and operations management.
In 2013, I co-founded Dynamix Recruitment. Our intention was and still is to provide a positive recruitment experience while upholding ethics and providing a higher level of customer service. My role at Dynamix Recruitment is to oversee the general running of the business, specifically projects, client relationships and business development.
The best part of this job is meeting and working with fantastic people. I have been fortunate to have the relationships and loyalty of great clients and I have had the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of hard working candidates. I also appreciate that Dynamix Recruitment is a credit to my wonderful team who give so much of themselves to ensure both their clients and candidates needs are met.
I have hiked from the bottom to the top of Spain twice
I have recently joined the Team at Dynamix Recruitment as the Operations Manager.
I have previously managed Recruitment companies throughout my career and have had a successful career in Real Estate. I am very passionate and committed to Client satisfaction. I listen to their needs to ensure the best decisions are achieved for them. With my background in sales, marketing and management, I have strong attention to detail, creative mind and warm friendly sense of humour.
The best part of my job is Managing the Team who are very loyal and committed to servicing their Clients and temporary staff on a daily bases. Since starting this year our Team has grown and our Client base too. I am very impressed with Dynamix culture and care when it comes to the service we provide and the care and attention that all the Consultants perform daily. I also get to meet and work alongside new businesses which I thoroughly enjoy.
I came to NZ in my late teens from Ireland and have visited my family 4 times since leaving.
Permanent Recruitment Consultant
I have recently joined the team at Dynamix Recruitment as a Permanent Recruitment Consultant I have previously worked within the recruitment industry developing business opportunities, which grew into managing accounts and temporary staff across these sites.
Aside from recruitment, I have spent the majority of my working career in Print and Online media sales, marketing and business development.
Permanent Recruitment is an exciting rewarding role, where no two days are ever the same; an aspect of the role I enjoy the most is getting to know fantastic people our candidates and clients and matching prospective employers with quality candidates.
I have a passion for Interior Design
I bring to Dynamix Recruitment 11 years’ experience in the industrial recruitment industry.
I was introduced to the recruitment industry as an administrator/ receptionist and I was given an amazing opportunity to move into a position as a para consultant. This gave me a taste of what recruitment was all about and urged me to pursue a career in the industrial recruitment sector both in New Zealand and Australia. This experience has helped me become a Senior Consultant today, managing both accounts and candidates, which I truly enjoy.
What I love about my job is working with people, ensuring our clients needs are met and helping our candidates into employment so they are able to provide and help their families.
My desire to travel the world and seek new adventure – top of my to do list
I have been working in the recruitment industry for 5 years, starting out as a temp doing references and screening candidates for roles. Prior to this I was working for a Global Company that Outsourced Computer Solutions managing a team of up to 200 staff over a 24 hour shift. Due to a decline in business I was made redundant and found myself temping until I found an opportunity with Dynamix Recruitment in the temp industrial recruitment sector.
At Dynamix Recruitment, no one day is the same. I have watched the company grow from a team of five to a team of 12 while maintaining its small team environment. What I enjoy the most about my role, is the candidate responses when placing them into work, and getting the feedback from clients regarding their placements. I love knowing that we have done our best to meet both our clients and candidates expectations.
I represented Hutt Valley, playing Touch Rugby, don’t ask me what age group as I won’t tell you.
I previously worked for 16 years in Hospitality, Operations Management, managing up to 65 staff and 5 branches. The part I enjoyed most about my job was the sourcing and on-boarding of new staff. 2 years ago, I decided to follow my passion and make the move into recruitment. I joined Dynamix Recruitment and haven’t looked back.
I get a real buzz when I find someone a job that they love and it’s even better when this job leads them to a permanent job opportunity. I pride myself on ensuring my clients and candidates are a good fit for each other.
I have 2 young children
I have working in recruitment for 13 years, I started out on reception and within my time have worked in admin, accounts, administration, team leader and more recently senior consultant.
I have recently returned from taking time out to focus on my family and have been fortunate enough to return to a company that values the importance of people and supports them when there is a need.

I love that no days are the same, I also enjoy the aspect of building strong relationships with clients and candidates and assisting those that need help.

The last 5 years I have spent running my own business in the food industry and prior to this spent 14 years with NZ Post in a variety of positions from Postie to Future Delivery consultant and lastly as a Network Performance Analyst.
I am the newest, prettiest member of the Dynamix Recruitment Team and was given this amazing opportunity, so I can further my knowledge and build a career in this exciting fast paced industry.

I have worked in the Recruitment Industry for 8 years as an Afterhours Consultant, having previously worked in the Freight Forwarding and Shipping Industry.
I started working as a temporary staff member for a recruitment company just like Dynamix Recruitment and was then given the opportunity to prove myself as part of the team as the Afterhours Consultant. This role gave us the benefit of ensuring all our Clients and Staff were being looked after 24hours a day, 7 days a week.
It was here I found my passion for helping others like myself gain employment and enjoy the benefits while working for a great company.
The best part of my day is meeting all the fabulous people from all walks of life who are looking to get ahead. I find great pleasure in helping these people find employment and watch their growth throughout the years.

I have worked for Dynamix Recruitment since it was founded back in 2013 and have grown in my role, just as Dynamix Recruitment has grown over the years.
Prior to Dynamix, I worked for 8 years in the travel industry as an Events and Groups Co-ordinator both here in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom. I got to travel the world and see some pretty amazing places and events. I then discovered my passion for numbers and moved into the financial world where I have been working for 13 years, mainly in accounts assistant work and management accounts assistant work.
I love my job at Dynamix. The pace of it, the flexibility to work off site, the amazing people that I have met along the way and the pretty awesome colleagues and bosses that I have.
I must say one day working at Dynamix Recruitment is never the same.
I am a national champion in Rowing.
I have worked in the recruitment industry since 2008, in which time I have worked as a Consultant and in Admin / Reception. My current position is Reception / Admin.
What I really enjoy about my role is I get to meet so many people on a daily basis, all of whom are looking to secure work and I get to do my little bit to help in that process. The best part about working in recruitment for me is the smile on faces when they leave here with work and opportunities. It’s a good feeling.
